Legacies
Concert Artistes International will need ongoing support to build the Trust fund, and this can be done by donations over time. However, if people would consider leaving asum of money in their will toward this project, it would enable the work to expand more rapidly. A larger donation through a legacy would enable C.A.I. to pay for a large ensemble or even a full orchestra at fundraising events.
In such a case, the ensemble group, choir or full orchestra could be named after the benefactor permanently. In addition, if the benefactor has a number of favourite charity/s (these should be chosen from the list provided) he/she would like to see supported by their legacy, this would raise the percentage of capital those charity/s owned in the Trust fund. In turn, this would enable a greater sum to be raised for the same charity/s in subsequent fundraising concert events.
Some charities will only accept money via memberships, and do not accept other donations. In such a case, they will not be listed as one of the charities to choose from. However, if the legacy is to benefit a charity not listed, and the charity cannot accept donations, C.A.I. would seek an alternative charitable organisation whose work would be the same or similar to the charity chosen. The same would happen in the case of a charity closing down or no longer accepting donations.
